This video shows the collaboration between Darby Holm and Bandhu Dunham in 2011.  The double-donut tube serves as the structural support for a kinetic sculpture which also functions.

Darby assembled this elegant composition using two of Bandhu's signature spheres, fabricated transdimensionally in Darby's shop while Bandhu was stranded in Grants Pass with a busted clutch! Big ups to the Holm clan and the staff at DC labs for their hospitality.
